Following personal contact and the cooperation of the Schalit family, a uniqe event will be held entitled “WALKING FOR GILAD-WALKING FOR FREEDOM”, on the International Day of Peace on the 21st of September, 2008.

The event will begin with a march from Green Park tube station, with a meeting point at 1PM. Following, a high profile event will be held at the Lyric Theatre (29 Shaftesbury Avenue, London W1D 7ES) with prominent guest speakers including His Excellency Ron Prosor - Israeli Ambassador to Great Britain, special interview on stage with Noam Schalit, Lee Scott MP, special artistic performnaces and a music performance by a renowned Israeli singer.
